Roma, mi manchi!

Buongiorno!

I’m back from my holiday. Dammit! This back-at-work feeling is wretched. I still haven’t gotten over the exhaustion of jumping on a plane for a 2-hour ride and rushing to another airport to jump into another plane for another 13-hour journey. Eeeps.

Reality bites.

But I had the most fabulous time! Change of weather and scene was what I needed. I finally had the opportunity to visit the Colosseum -- one of the places I’ve been wanting to visit all my life. I enjoyed good food, vino (!) and better insights of the people I was with. It’s lovely getting surrounded by super good looking people (it changed my perspective on Italians now.. hehe) and not giving a toss about my clients. Thoroughly loved the shops, the coffee, the shopping. You know you’re having a bloody jolly time when all you had to crack your head about (not even!) was how to get from point A to point B. Pisa is exquisite when you see it with your own eyes.

Though Paris weather was a bit mad, it was a good jog down memory lane, especially at the Notre Dame. I had to dismiss my idea to bike around the city due to mad weather. For reasons still unknown to me, we walked all the way to Place de la Concorde at about 8 p.m. in the rain at 2ºC with the wind going at us and back to where we were staying. The apartment I don’t think I can ever afford in this lifetime at the current rate I’m going in my career. It is stupendous. It’s large, smack right in the middle of the 8th arrondisement, and 2 corners away on foot there's the full view of Eiffel Tower staring at you.

Speaking of which, my legs hurt from all the walking but I am not complaining. I’m still reeling despite my lethargy.

Thanks BB, HC and ES ever so much.

Loves!!!
